Flag
Surprisingly, the Latvian flag was used as early as the thirteenth century but wasn't officially the flag of Latvia until 1922. The flag has two red stripes, which symbolize the blood from the hearts of the Latvians who are ready to fight for freedom and liberty. It also has one white stripe that intersects the red.
